Jane Fairweather Textile Artist
Exquisite three-dimensional machine and hand embroidered miniature landscapes arranged in vintage, recycled tea-sets. Inspired by the beautiful South Shropshire countryside where Jane lives. Jane also makes miniature embroidered pictures, children’s wall-hangings and hand embroidered felted "pebbles". Every piece of Jane's work is unique. Her work has been featured in “Embroidery”, “Workbox” and “Patchwork & Quilting” magazines and on the National Trust websites (public and press). Her original tea-set was the centrepiece of an exhibition organised by the Embroiderers' Guild in conjunction National Trust Berrington Hall, Herefordshire in 2016. In 2018 her work will be featured in a forthcoming book by a leading textile designer.
