Handmade by Hannah: Mother’s Day Honey Lavender Soap
Mother’s Day Honey Lavender Soap
For this week’s blog I thought it would only be right in the run up to one of the most important days of the year (or so my mum tells me…) to make something in preparation for Mother’s Day. (All jokes aside my mum is brilliant and she totally deserves a day in the calendar to celebrate her!)
My mum absolutely adores her soaps, baths and all things moisturising. So I’ve decided to make her something that should hopefully appeal to all three.
My Mother’s Day Honey Lavender Soap is so easy to make and has beautiful results, and to prove it I have made a little video to demonstrate how to make this little crowd pleaser.
Don’t feel that you have to stick to my soap additions, the great thing about soap making is that you can be as creative as you like! Other additions/flavours to consider could include coconut, shea butter, rose or lavender buds, tea herbs, bees wax, goat milk, strawberry seeds etc.
Disclaimer: it smells and looks absolutely delicious… please use responsibly and don’t attempt eating!
